BHEA/BHUSD APPROVED AGREEMENT

  • Click to view a full copy of the APPROVED AGREEMENT for 2007-2009 for the certificated contract.  Here are the highlights:
    • 3% increase to all salaries in Appendix I, effective Jan. 1, 2008.
    • Another 3% increase to all salaries in Appendix I, effective July 1, 2008.
    • $1,000 increase to health and welfare benefits cap, effective Jan. 1, 2009.
    • Strengthen and clarify Grievance article.  Create grievance timeline form.
    • Create 2010-2011 district academic calendar.
    • Create a Step 22 column on the Teacher Support Personnel Salary Schedule, effective July 1, 2006.

* Please note that, as of 9/2/08, two more actions must still occur before the above tentative agreement can officially become part of the Certificated contract.  1) The Certificated members of BHEA must ratify the agreement.  Ratification is scheduled to occur on 9/5/08 at all school sites.  2) The Board of Education must approve the agreement.  Approval is scheduled to occur on 9/9/08.
